Borden Hunting Rifles
Borden Hunting Rifles are sleek, trim and very accurate. They are built using the same principles that we have use to manufacture our award winning benchrest rifles. They average sub 1/2 MOA when appropriate loading techniques, good shooting techniques and wind flags are used. The rifle is built with your choice of an Alpine, Timberline or Rimrock Custom Action. Barrel size can be from #2 to #5 (for the Remington Varmint Taper and the Sendero taper see the Varmint Rifles section). The stock used on this model is the McMillan Remington Sporter Model. Options include barrel fluting, 1 piece bolt (on SSR only), Talley Steel Rings, Machined BDL Floorplate and Black Xylon coating.

Borden Light Hunting Rifles
The Borden Light Hunting Rifles provide an option for those that want a very ligtweight rifle without significantly compromising performance. There are some caliber and options restrictions for this rifle to make the 5 1/2 to 5 3/4 pound weight.

Grand Slam Series Rifles
The Grand Slam Series Rifle is a limited Series. There will only be 50 of these specialized rifles. Serial numbers GS01-50 through 04-50 are reserved for auction at the annual Ovis/Grand Slam Conventions. The rifle pictured with this is GS01-50 and it was auctioned at the 2005 GSCO auction. GS02-50 was auctioned at Tunica in February 2006 and GS03-50 will be auctioned at teh convention in Tunica MS in February 2007. The rifle averages about 3/8 MOA. There are still some of this series available for sale. $400 from each rifle will be donated to the Ovis/Grand Slam Club to promote sheep habitat and sheep hunting.

Borden Long Range Hunting Rifles
This Series of Rifles are for those that prefer to utilize a heavier rifle that is setup for longer range shooting. We recommend that anyone desiring to actually hunt and shoot game at extended distances become thoroughly familiar with their rifle and the concepts of Long Range shooting. the familairization should include lots of practice at extended distances in various wind and climatic conditions to build proficiency.
